Responsibility is the mindfulness to perform those actions that promote the greater good for yourself and others. When we are responsible, we contribute to the well being of ourselves and others. To be responsible we must have brave hearts and the determination to take risks to protect society from harm.
The Efficiency of the well-trained mind
The stated qualities cause those who have well-trained minds to have the courage to take responsibility for human dignity on various levels.
Mechanism # 2: Abstention from the Four Forms of Bias
Bias may occur whenever two persons are together. If we are not careful, bias can start from our mind. It will never happen if we have responsibility for our own human dignity because the true cause of bias is the untrained mind.

Bias because of desire [chandagati]; results in unjust treatment due to the influence of personal love and pleasure.
